| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Current Ring General Accessories Provides a safe, economical, and efficient way to indicate the presence (or absence) of an electrical current. A current carrying wire is passed through the opening in the center of the device. When the current in the wire is above two amps, the light emitting diode begins to illuminate. The device is supported by double the current carrying wire, and if necessary, may be secured in place with a nylon tie.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Woven Fiberglass Sleeving General Accessories Closely woven 100% fiberglass construction for applications where temperatures run up to 1200°F. Provides abrasion resistance with high flexibility. The materials are treated to remove all organic matter and to render the glass braid fray resistant. The sleeving will meet the temperature requirements for Class C (1200°F) insulation, but colors in sleeving may fade or bake out at 400°F. The sleeving is "double wall" for additional space factor dielectric strength. The dielectric strength of this sleeving is only that of the air space created by the presence of the sleeving. The material is rated FR-1 for flame resistant properties and recognized under the component program of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.

Standard Connector Thermocouple Accessories Provides quick coupling and is made to the standard industrial size, thus allowing mating with other regular size plugs and jacks. Made of rugged, thermosettling plastic which has a high impact strength. Extremely tough and shatterproof, these connectors exhibit a low moisture absorption rate, good dielectric constant, and are impervious to fungus attack. Finger grips allow easy handling. The bodies are color-coded to ISA color codes. Symbols for + and - are molded onto the connector body to simplify wiring.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Miniature Connectors Thermocouple Accessories Useful with fine thermocouple wire and small diameter probes. Accepts wires from .001" diameter to 20 gauge. Polarized pins make it impossible to mismate. Case is molded from glass-filled thermoset plastics (useful to 400°F). Simple two-piece construction includes removable cap with semi-captive screws and elastomer bushing for wire strain relief.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Strain Relief Clamp Thermocouple Accessories To be used with standard connectors for thermocouples and RTDs.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Standard Panel Jacks Thermocouple Accessories For individual mounting into a 11/8" diameter hole (standard 3/4" conduit knockout). Installed entirely from the front of the panel. Cases are made of nylon (rated at 400°F). Thermocouple wire attachment is by screws.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Preassembled Panel Jacks - Standard Size Thermocouple Accessories Available with six circuits. Thermocouple type and circuit number are clearly marked on the front. All wiring and installation can be done from the front of the panel. Panel cutout is 45/16" x 11/4".
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Bayonet Adapter Thermocouple Accessories Mating parts for any of the bayonet probes. Adapter for configurations 206-215, 250, and 806-815. Click here to view the Selection Table for "A" Dimension of Fixed Length Bayonet Type Thermocouples.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Compression Fittings Thermocouple Accessories Adjustable adapter used for installing thermocouples, RTDs, or other sensors with metal tubular sheaths in pipes or tanks. When the cap is tightened on the body, the ferrule is squeezed tightly and permanently around the probe's metal sheath. The compression fitting and probe assembly are then threaded into place at the temperature measuring site. This provides a torque-free, leak-proof seal.

Thermocouple Wire Thermocouple Accessories Standard Grade and Extension Grade Standard Grade meets or exceeds ISA specifications for accuracy. Both legs of the thermocouple wire pair are included in the footage quoted. A variety of insulation is offered to meet the requirements of diverse applications. If the wire is to be used to run more than 20 or 30 feet, it is usually preferable to use the larger, more heavily insulated extension grade wire for the distance run. Temperature limits are located below. Extension Grade is used mostly for connecting probes or "hot junctions" to instrumentation. It is generally larger wire and more heavily insulated than the standard grade in order to retard electrical losses along its length. The extension wire types JX and KX (corresponding to thermocouple types J and K) meet the same specifications for accuracy as standard grade up to a temperature of 400°F.
