European Connector
Ceramic Band Heater Option

Two-pole cup type European plug available on most configurations. Some restrictions do apply, such as minimum diameter and minimum width. Contact Thermal Corporation for more details.

Holes or Notches
Ceramic Band Heater Option

Any reasonable size and location is available on custom designed heaters. Contact Thermal Corporation for assistance in determining feasibility.

Ground Terminal or Ground Wire
Ceramic Band Heater Option

May be added to most configurations.

Non-Standard Location of Leads or Terminals
Ceramic Band Heater Option

Leads or terminals may be located at any reasonable place along the heater, for applications where standard connections may be inaccessible. Contact Thermal Corporation for more details.

Bayonet Adapter Attached to Heater
Ceramic Band Heater Option

A standard bayonet adapter is soldered to a bracket then attached to the heater above a 3/8" diameter hole. Please specify adapter length when ordering.

Copper Elbow with Stainless Steel Hose
Ceramic Band Heater Option

Stainless steel flexible hose soldered to elbow available on some configurations. Specify orientation of elbow to heater when ordering.

Copper Elbow with Stainless Steel Overbraid
Ceramic Band Heater Option

Stainless steel overbraid crimped to elbow available on some configurations. Specify orientation of elbow to heater when ordering.

Terminal Box
Ceramic Band Heater Option

Available for configurations with post terminals. Contact Thermal Corporation for more details.

Extra Wide Gap
Ceramic Band Heater Option

Available on most heaters as a less expensive alternative to holes for thermocouple probe access. Some restrictions apply for heaters with mounting flanges. (Standard gap is 1/2"). Please specify "G" dimension when ordering.

Spring Clamps/Screws
Ceramic Band Heater Option

Recommended for larger diameter applications (10" or greater) to ensure adequate clamping action.

Strain Relief Spring
Ceramic Band Heater Option

Strain relief spring that goes over stainless steel overbraid (approximately 4” coverage from where leads exit heater). Available on Configurations 616, 617, 618, 619, 622, and 623.

Vented Outer Sheath
Ceramic Band Heater Option

Vented band heaters are used for high temperature heating and cooling extrusion processes.
